I noticed the smell of fresh ink before I even opened the box. I’d ordered three canvases for my home office a couple weeks ago. At first the packaging and one print looked alright. Then I hung them and two had small defects — a scuff and a weird colour band. That annoyed me. What bothered me more was the fine print about granting them broad rights to reuse designs, and that items might be printed out of country. I emailed and posted on their Facebook and heard nothing for a few days. I was sceptical, but they eventually replied, apologized and offered reprints and a written assurance about not reusing my files. That calmed me down, though I’m still cautious.
