Buyee - Reviews and experiences

I ordered something from an auction and paid for the standard plan, which included inspection and insurance. When my item arrived, it wasn't what I bought! It was supposed to be a sealed game worth 1000 bucks, but I got a rock film DVD that's only like 2 bucks. What a rip-off! So basically, they didn't even do the inspection service I paid for. In the end, they gave me back the money I spent, but they didn't cover the customs fees which were 210 dollars. Like, hello?! That's not my fault, that's their fault for not doing their job properly. Can't trust their services, bro.

I bought something from Buyee and man, was I ever let down by what I got. The thing showed up busted, and when I tried to get help from Buyee, they were no help at all. Even though I paid extra for that 500 yen protection, Buyee wouldn't do anything to make it right for the broken item. All they said was I could send it back to Japan on my dime, and maybe I'd get a refund through PayPal. It was pretty obvious that Buyee didn't give a darn about the stuff they were sending out, 'cause they didn't want to own up to the defective item I got.

I've been getting packages from Buyee and man, each time there's been some sort of problem. I paid extra for insurance, but when my stuff arrived all messed up, they didn't want to give me a full refund. It's annoying because the damage really lowered the value of my collector's items. The most I got back was only 500 yen, which didn't even cover the cost of shipping within Japan for the wrecked item.

So yeah, my package ended up getting all mixed up in the warehouse, but thankfully I got my full refund after just three days. The customer support was really nice and super helpful, which definitely made the situation better. I've used Tenso for packages before, so I know mix-ups can happen. Even with all this, I still like both companies and I'll for sure use them again in the future.
