My experience with this proxy shopping service was really disappointing. I ordered some stuff, but Buyee made a big mistake by not putting a commercial invoice in the package they sent with DHL. I ordered something from an auction and paid for the standard plan, which included inspection and insurance. When my item arrived, it wasn't what I bought! It was supposed to be a sealed game worth 1000 bucks, but I got a rock film DVD that's only like 2 bucks. What a rip-off! So basically, they didn't even do the inspection service I paid for. In the end, they gave me back the money I spent, but they didn't cover the customs fees which were 210 dollars. Like, hello?! That's not my fault, that's their fault for not doing their job properly. Defected item with protection fee
I bought something from Buyee and man, was I ever let down by what I got. The thing showed up busted, and when I tried to get help from Buyee, they were no help at all. Even though I paid extra for that 500 yen protection, Buyee wouldn't do anything to make it right for the broken item. All they said was I could send it back to Japan on my dime, and maybe I'd get a refund through PayPal. It was pretty obvious that Buyee didn't give a darn about the stuff they were sending out, 'cause they didn't want to own up to the defective item I got.
