I recently picked up the Bistro Knife Block to swap out my old one from Switzerland. Ordering was pretty simple once I got my account all set up. The two knife blocks showed up quickly and they looked pretty good. But I was a bit let down to see that the plastic rods weren't packed as tightly as my old one, so some knives were slipping in too easily. Plus, the bottom plate was detached from the side on one of the blocks. Now I need advice on which glue to use for reattaching it, maybe epoxy. Even with the quality control problems from the Portuguese manufacturer, I do like the shiny new look of the knife blocks and how they're easier to clean.

I bought the Bistro Milk Frother not too long ago, but sadly it seems like I got a defective one. Even though I made sure to follow the instructions properly, the frother keeps stopping unexpectedly when I try to hot froth, making a loud noise, and at times giving me cold frothy milk instead of hot. The coffee press travel mug arrived pretty quick and the service was awesome. My only problem is that the product has one annoying flaw. The pressing part works really well, and it keeps the heat like nobody's business - the coffee was still steaming hot and tasty after a 2-hour trip. But, there are a couple things - first off, the mug is just too wide to fit in car cup holders. That's not a big deal; the other problem is that when the press is down, it leaves about an inch of liquid below it, that for some reason can't go through the mesh to be drunk. So it's like a little less than a quarter of the drink that's stuck at the bottom. I don't get why the liquid can't go through the mesh, but other than that, I'm really happy with this mug.
