Pretty bag, poor returns

Returns & Refunds

I actually liked the bag — it's been my go-to for the commute and fits my laptop, coffee, all that — but the post-sale experience soured everything. I chose them partly because their site listed a flexible return policy; when I tried to return it the return email on the website bounced. I messaged support twice after that and got no reply for over a week, which stressed me out since the return window was ticking. The bag itself is fine and I used it every day, but the silent customer service made me rethink buying from them — honestly a shame.

Good bag, surprise duty

Price

I'm keeping the bag, but not happy about the surprise fees. Bought it a few weeks ago and first thing, the leather and shape were exactly what I expected — felt solid right away. The problem was I live in the US and they hit me with about $102 in customs/duties after delivery; that wasn't shown at checkout so I couldn't decide up front. Also box arrived battered and the dust bag was comically large, like a bedsheet. If those two things were fixed I'd be calmer; as is, I love the bag but feel misled and slightly annoyed.

Close, but not what was pictured

Product

weight, stitching, leather feel — that part eased a few of my worries. But a few other things never got better. The listing promised a dust bag and none was in the box. A photo in the gallery shows a different leather and hardware colour entirely — not just a lighting thing — so that was misleading. There was an authentication tag included, but it was blank, which is weird when they stress authenticity everywhere. I tried to get answers: messaged customer support via email and chat, even replied to a Trustpilot prompt, and that was over four business days ago. I did send photos like they asked (48 hours ago) and then crickets. So my pre-purchase doubts about accuracy were partially calmed by the actual material quality, but the missing accessory, mismatched images and silence from support left me annoyed. If you’re thinking of ordering, ask for current photos and confirmation of included items up front — saves you the back-and-forth.

Delivery let down, product was fine

Delivery

they didn't. I stayed home the following day, apart from a quick ten-minute run to the store, and apparently they rang the bell again while I was out. After another call, the only solution was to go all the way to the UPS depot in Oslo and pick it up myself the next day. Tracking gave no way to add delivery notes or actually talk to the driver. Customer service seemed unsure and the options felt limited. The seller probably can't control every courier, but I wish they'd choose a different delivery method or give clearer pickup choices. Tip for others: confirm pickup location up front or ask for a scheduled window. Product is good, just be ready for delivery headaches.

Lived-in charm, small mystery

Product

I bought this bag three months ago and started using it right away. First day I thought, nice strap, soft leather — fits my everyday stuff just fine. It felt broken-in in a good way, like it already had stories. But honestly, when it arrived it was more worn than I expected. I kept it anyway. Used it for coffee runs and errands. There’s a tiny hidden pocket I totally didn’t notice at first — pleasantly surprised. Tried to resell it through A Retro Tale later and they wouldn’t take it because of the wear. That was confusing. If it’s too worn for resale, I’d like to know how it passed inspection before sale. Still, I like using it.
