Group organizing platform
Group organizing platform
ServiceThe group organization platform has so much potential, but it's just not cutting it because of all the technical problems and the lousy customer service. As someone who runs a group on there, I've run into a ton of issues trying to plan events and keep my group organized. The site is always acting up, with features that don't work like they should. And don't even get me started on the customer support - they're basically MIA, taking forever to respond and giving unhelpful advice like clearing the cache, which never fixes anything. It's super frustrating relying on a platform that's so unreliable and doesn't give enough support to its users.

Group creation struggle
ServiceI had some trouble using a promo code when I was trying to set up a group on the platform. I couldn't find a customer service number to get help, no matter how hard I looked. It's frustrating to not have easy access to customer support in this day and age. Companies really need to have good customer service to take care of any problems or questions that come up.
Meetup Group Experience
Meetup Group Experience
ServiceAs a leader of a group on Meetup, I gotta say it's not easy keeping the community strong and growing. The platform's lack of support can really be a pain, especially after all the hard work put into building a close-knit group. It's about time for some changes and for platforms to start putting their users first.
About Meetup
Meetup is an online platform designed to facilitate group meetings in various locations around the world, allowing users to find and join groups unified by a common interest, such as hobbies, careers, or social activities. Founded in 2002 by Scott Heiferman, Matt Meeker, and Peter Kamali in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks to help rebuild the fabric of community by bringing people together in real life, the platform encourages the creation, discovery, and joining of local community groups. Through its website and mobile app, Meetup has grown to become a significant tool for social connection and professional networking, enabling individuals to meet, collaborate, and foster a sense of community through shared interests and activities.
