Blinkist - Reviews and experiences

I just renewed my subscription and paid with PayPal, but it's been more than two weeks and I still can't get into my account. I reached out to customer service right away, and even though Jean answered a few times saying she fixed the problem and can activate my account, nothing has happened. Now, my emails asking about it are being ignored. This kind of service is not okay, so I asked for a refund because I don't think I'll use their services again.

I wish I had checked out the reviews before I signed up for that so-called free trial that ended up costing me. The customer service is terrible, which I just don't get. How can a company run things this way and think they'll last in the long run?

I don't usually write reviews, but I had to this time. Got a 50% discount on my contract renewal after the notice period was over. The refund was in my account within days. I didn't see that coming and I'm really thankful! Amazing customer service experience! Hard to find these days. Love the product content - just have to save some money right now. Hopefully, this review shows my appreciation!

I had a bad experience when I tried to cancel a free trial subscription. Even though I tried, I still got charged for the service. I sent a bunch of emails to customer service, but no one replied. It made me feel really frustrated and like they didn't care. So I had to get my credit card company involved to cancel the charge. After waiting for two weeks with no response, they finally told me I would get a refund, but they didn't say sorry or explain why it happened.

I signed up for a 7-day trial and got billed for a full year without asking me. When I contacted customer service, they didn't even respond. Totally outrageous.

I'm pretty disappointed with this subscription service because I'm having a hard time trying to unsubscribe. It seems like the company is trying to make it difficult on purpose to cancel subscriptions and keep charging customers. The customer support hasn't been much help either, just giving me generic answers about being busy and not actually fixing the problem. It's been a real pain dealing with this, especially since the subscription was supposed to be a Christmas present, but the person keeps getting surprise bills. Gifts are supposed to make people happy, but this whole situation is just making things worse.
