Mid-show billing surprise
Mid-show billing surprise
PriceI was mid-show—charged anyway; they should warn.
Auto-renewal surprise, sorted
Auto-renewal surprise, sorted
Priceunwanted auto-renewal charge, but it ended up resolved. I complained, waved the UK rules and asked for a refund — they returned the money. Was sceptical at first (other apps lost my trust), but meh, decent outcome.
Quietly useful but billing messy
Quietly useful but billing messy
PriceHalfway through the trial I was unsure — needed quick summaries while moving and with bad back. Skeptical at first, then useful; billing hiccups stayed, but content helped after all.
Strange unexpected charge
Strange unexpected charge
PriceI got the box yesterday — odd because I cancelled years ago. They still billed me $99 out of the blue, so I'm disputing it. Delivery was actually fast and the driver left it where I need it for weekday lunches. Customer support started a ticket, so fingers crossed.
Fast delivery, sticky renewal situation
Fast delivery, sticky renewal situation
PriceI first spotted this on my buddy's Instagram and tipped another friend. Delivery was impressively quick and tidy, I actually liked that. But it auto-renewed with no heads-up, and my 24-hour refund request was ignored.
Worth it, but watch the billing
Worth it, but watch the billing
PriceI got charged twice and had to sort it with my bank (annoying). Service itself is solid though, features and content are great. Just double-check payment settings and keep an eye on renewals.
Almost didn't bother, glad I did
Almost didn't bother, glad I did
PriceI almost skipped this after a buddy warned me (said "avoid"), but I tried the trial. Delivery showed up on time — impressively — and customer service actually fixed a billing hiccup without drama. Took a bit to trust them, still a little wary, also saw them on Instagram so yeah, weirdly convincing.
Unauthorized renewal, meh

Small win, messy billing
Small win, messy billing
Priceneat, concise content and the app is simple. Then I noticed an unexpected charge after the trial. Support wrote back quickly with refund options and said they'd process it, which eased my worry, but four days later no refund and no follow-up despite chasing. So content? pretty good; billing follow-through? not great. Learn from me: watch the trial end.
A sneaky renewal, then a surprise
A sneaky renewal, then a surprise
Pricehandy. Then it auto-renewed without a clear email. I was ready to throw my laptop out. Short, snarky messages back and forth. I told my sister not to bother yet. But after a frustrating couple of days a rep stepped in, sorted the charge and gave a refund. Not flawless. Took too long. Still, ended better than I expected. Lesson learned: check billing settings and don’t assume silence means consent.
Not worth the headache
Not worth the headache
Priceskip the free trial unless you enjoy phone-sweating over mysterious charges — I got billed twice and it’s been a long, annoying puddle of back-and-forth since. I grabbed the trial last year because I thought it might shave a few minutes off my morning routine — you know, the usual: coffee, lunch prep, trying to get out the door without forgetting a water bottle or a lunch box. In the brief time I actually used the app it helped a bit, but nothing earth-shattering. I used it for maybe a day, decided it wasn’t for me, hit cancel, and went on with life.
Subscription renewal surprise
Subscription renewal surprise
PriceI can't believe I got charged for a whole year subscription out of the blue, just days after my last one ended. I checked all my emails and there was no mention of the renewal anywhere. It feels like a sneaky tactic and has totally put me off from using this service in the future.
