Bought a coupon
Bought a coupon
CommunicationSo, eh, I got this coupon, right? But when I went to use it, it's like they just didn't give a darn! Tried sending emails and making phone calls, but no one bothered to get back to me like they promised. Totally uncool, dude.
Gift card purchase issue
Gift card purchase issue
CommunicationI bought a gift card from this company not long ago and had some troubles with it. The card I got was for a gas station I never go to, so I couldn't use it at all. I tried emailing customer service a few times to explain and ask for help, but didn't hear back from them. It was frustrating not getting any response and feeling like they didn't care about my problem. Just a heads up, if you're thinking of buying gift cards from this company, maybe be careful to avoid the same situation.
Unpaid Supplier Invoices
Unpaid Supplier Invoices
CommunicationI'm totally disappointed with Tuango's payment practices. We did our part, sold and fulfilled 14 packages, but they're not paying us since February. We're owed more than $3800 and their excuse of waiting until September 2022 to pay out is just not cool, especially since they've already taken their share of the profits. And to make matters worse, I can't even get in touch with anyone in accounting to talk about it. It's really frustrating and unprofessional.
About Tuango
Tuango is a Canadian-based company that operates as an online deal and coupon platform. Founded in 2010, it primarily targets the Canadian market, offering daily deals to consumers that include discounts on various products and services ranging from restaurant vouchers and spa services to leisure activities and retail products. The company collaborates with local businesses across Canada to provide these deals, aiming to introduce customers to new experiences in their city at a reduced price, while also helping businesses attract new clients. Tuango's business model is similar to that of group buying websites, where deals are activated only when a certain number of people commit to buying them, ensuring benefits for both the businesses offering the deals and the consumers purchasing them.
