Great company since 2012
I've been with this company since 2012 and gotta say, their service has always been top-notch. They're quick to respond to emails and never miss a payment. Keep it up!
Disappointed with time spent browsing offers
I was pretty disappointed with how much time I wasted looking at those offers, only to realize they weren't that great after all. The hotel deals only have discounts from Sunday to Thursday and during the less busy times of the year (spring/fall), which doesn't really help retired folks who already get discounts then. The savings end up being pretty small. Also, Tuango adds a delivery fee for each item ordered, sometimes making the discount not even worth it. On the bright side, I've had some good food and outing deals from Tuango. Maybe they should focus more on those kinds of offers.
Bought a coupon
So, eh, I got this coupon, right? But when I went to use it, it's like they just didn't give a darn! Tried sending emails and making phone calls, but no one bothered to get back to me like they promised. Totally uncool, dude.
Overpriced stuff
Don't bother with Tuango, eh! I got some stuff there and it was way overpriced. Found the same stuff online for way less, you know. And the quality? Not even good. Feels like they're trying to pull a fast one on you, making you think you're scoring a deal when you're really not.
Tickets not good
I got some tickets but couldn't even use them to book the hotel. They ended up expiring and now I'm out of luck. Tuango won't even pay the hotel or give me my money back. I'm gonna take them to BBB and small claims court. Take that Tuango!
Gift card purchase issue
I bought a gift card from this company not long ago and had some troubles with it. The card I got was for a gas station I never go to, so I couldn't use it at all. I tried emailing customer service a few times to explain and ask for help, but didn't hear back from them. It was frustrating not getting any response and feeling like they didn't care about my problem. Just a heads up, if you're thinking of buying gift cards from this company, maybe be careful to avoid the same situation.
Overpriced deal
I just bought a deal from here and man, what a letdown. It was way too expensive and the fine print had some shady rules that basically meant they could scam you out of your cash with no way to get it back. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place if you don't want to waste your hard-earned dough.
First purchase for a trip
My first buy on the website was for a trip that ended up being a total waste of money. The deal description was all messed up, tricking me into thinking it started in Montreal when it was actually in Quebec City. I couldn't even get my money back or trade it for something else, so I had to just give up and accept that I was out of pocket. It was a real letdown, that's for sure.
Order mix-up
Eh, so I bought two tickets, but they ended up charging me for three. Now they won't refund me for the extra ticket that I didn't even buy! And, like, I can't even talk to them over the phone or online chat, so darn frustrating!
Unpaid Supplier Invoices
I'm totally disappointed with Tuango's payment practices. We did our part, sold and fulfilled 14 packages, but they're not paying us since February. We're owed more than $3800 and their excuse of waiting until September 2022 to pay out is just not cool, especially since they've already taken their share of the profits. And to make matters worse, I can't even get in touch with anyone in accounting to talk about it. It's really frustrating and unprofessional.
