EconomyBookings - Reviews and experiences

I wouldn't trust this company to hold my keys, let alone a prepaid car. I did get home in the end, but only after a messy scramble and a kind person at Enterprise. I landed in San Juan after a long flight and I really needed a ride—my lower back was killing me, so walking wasn't ideal. At the "Ride" counter there were no cars. None. I called EconomyBookings and, in a recorded call, the agent basically admitted there was no inventory and that my reservation had been cancelled without notice. They then told me I had to pay again, at about triple the price. I felt scammed. I walked to Enterprise and paid CAD 445 out of pocket (ugh). Meanwhile this company is still holding my prepaid money and promises a "28-day" investigation. Weirdly, I'm grateful I didn't sleep on the airport bench. I'm annoyed, wary, but relieved I'm home. Wouldn't recommend unless you like surprises.
