InstallationHalfway through my trip I realized the eSIM hadn't activated — and I really needed it for maps and to pull up my physio notes because my back was flaring up. I tried installing it three times on my phone, rebooted, toggled settings, the whole thing. No activation message came and the QR link kept timing out. I emailed and messaged support, waited, waited, nothing — radio silence for days. Delivery of the activation info felt nonexistent. An email with the code showed up late. Weirdly, after a complaint through my bank I got a partial refund the same week, which was a small surprise. Still, relying on this for health-related travel was stressful; won't risk it again.
