Useless subscription tool
This app's capacity is really limited and it doesn't give you much control over the system. The interface looks good, but it doesn't have much actual power. Plus, it's kinda sketchy with how it collects your data and has a sneaky subscription that keeps charging your credit card, with no way to cancel. I would totally steer clear of this one.
Network monitoring tool
This network monitoring tool is pretty good at keeping track of the traffic on my Windows PC. But man, the ads trying to sell me upgrades that I don't even want are so annoying. I have no need for those extra features, and the fake sales messages are just ridiculous. It's disappointing that such a helpful tool is ruined by all this aggressive advertising. Honestly, I won't be renewing my subscription because of it.
Software purchase
I just bought this software and I gotta say, it's really impressive. You can totally tell the developers worked hard to make it reliable and efficient. Plus, the customer support is top-notch. They've been super helpful whenever I had any questions or problems, handling everything in a really professional way. I really appreciate how dedicated the team is to making sure customers are happy and have a great experience. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase and would definitely suggest this product to others.
Subscription
I tried to sign up for a subscription, but their website keeps your payment info and you can't get rid of it. It's pretty sketchy. Be careful before you sign up because they can charge your card whenever they want. That's not cool.
Monitoring software purchase
Don't even bother dealing with their website. I tried reaching out to them for help, but it felt like I was talking to a wall. No one got back to me and canceling my payment was a total disaster. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from them!
Tracking software
I use this tracking software both at work and at home to keep an eye on my network. It helps me catch any sketchy stuff and keep it at bay. I really appreciate that they support the EFF and other groups that work to protect online privacy. I think it's pretty awesome.
Subscription renewal
I had a bad experience with this company when it came to renewing my subscription. They charged me twice without telling me after my first year was up. I had to call customer service to sort it out, and all they did was give me a refund and cancel my subscription. They didn't explain or apologize for the mistake. What really annoyed me was that they didn't offer to cover the international credit card fees I had because of their error. The customer service was no help at all. I won't let them charge my credit card again in the future. Overall, I think their software is not great and it's too expensive for what you get.
Annual payment only
Only having the option for yearly payments is a big downside when you compare it to other security software providers. Other than that, it's pretty good and works well. The price is reasonable, and you can get a good discount if you buy multiple licenses.
Network traffic monitoring tool
As someone who's using this network traffic monitoring tool, I gotta say that the free version does the job for basic monitoring. But the paid version is pretty expensive and might not be worth it for the extra features it gives. If the company added more advanced stuff to the paid version, it would definitely make the product better and more worth the cost.
Network monitoring software purchase
I just bought this network monitoring software that also acts as a firewall. The software looks good and is easy to use, which is great because it makes it simple to figure out all its features. It has everything I need and performs well - I'm happy with it. I'm excited to see what new features they add down the line. Overall, it's a really good product that I'm pleased with.
Initial price confusion
When I first went on the website, I saw that the price was listed at €2.99 a year. But once I signed up, it jumped to €2.99 monthly! I felt deceived by this switcheroo in pricing. Being truthful about costs is crucial for me as a customer. This whole ordeal has me cautious about dealing with this company in the future.
Bandwidth usage monitor
The bandwidth usage monitor is actually a pretty handy product! I use it mostly to keep an eye on my data usage, and it's been super helpful for that. But, I did run into a little problem with it slowing down my slower computers. On my i3 10th generation laptop, it was hogging up all the CPU and making my laptop get all hot and bothered, so I had to kick it off that device. Still, it's running just fine on my PC without any issues.
School PC protection
My computer at school was moving really slow during Zoom meetings, eh, and it was really bugging me. I thought I'd give this network monitoring tool a shot because my antivirus wasn't finding anything. And guess what, after scanning with GlassWire's virustotal feature, I found some malware that got through my antivirus. I got rid of it right away, and now my computer is working fast again, eh. It's a load off my mind knowing that GlassWire could find and get rid of the malware that was causing all the issues.
Firewall software purchase
I was a little concerned about my privacy when I started using Glasswire, but the notifications turned out to be pretty straightforward. The subscription is on a yearly basis, but you can always reach out to customer service if you need to cancel. I decided to give the free version a try, and I was quite satisfied with it.
Firewall software purchase
I recently bought a firewall software and at first thought it was great for blocking and analyzing network traffic. But, after looking into it more, I found out that it's collecting a lot of data about users and could share it with others. The software's privacy policy says that personal info might be shared with others if needed, which makes me worried about my sensitive data's security. It's scary to think that a program meant to monitor network traffic could be acting like spyware, gathering and sharing private data with outside groups. A firewall should be protecting and analyzing our network traffic, not letting others collect sensitive info. This raises serious concerns about privacy and data security, making me wonder how trustworthy the software really is.
Security app for bandwidth monitoring and control
That security app is awesome! I live in a place where data can be hard to come by, so it's really important for me to know which apps are eating up my bandwidth. This app makes it super easy for me to keep an eye on my data usage and shut down any sketchy or data-hungry apps. It's a relief to know that I have the power to manage my data usage.
"Lifetime" license purchase
I bought a "lifetime" license a couple months back, but when I tried to activate the software on my new computer, I ran into some problems. Even though they said I could install it on multiple devices with the "lifetime" license, I could only use it on one. I'm feeling pretty frustrated about not hearing back from customer support, and it's making me wonder about the company's future.
Security software
I was really let down by the customer service when I tried to get a refund for a security software that didn't work as expected. Even though they said they had a money-back guarantee, I couldn't get in touch with anyone for help right away. It was so frustrating and made me feel like I got taken advantage of. I would advise others to be careful with this company's promises because they don't seem to keep their word.
App blocking tool
GlassWire is a really great tool for blocking apps from making sneaky calls to servers. I actually caught one app sending out data without my say-so, but luckily I could shut it down with GlassWire. The free version worked fine for me, but if you need more fancy features, the paid version has you covered.
