Voices.com is an amazing site for finding voice-over work. I love that I never have to worry about getting paid for the jobs I do through them. The customer service is great - they're friendly and helpful, always quick to answer my questions. They also have really informative webinars and actually listen to their members. It would be nice not to have that 20% cut for every job, but the guarantee of getting paid makes it worth it. It would be even better if clients knew to approve the audio files quickly so we could get paid faster. Despite these small issues, Voices.com is still my favorite casting site.

I paid a big membership fee, thinking I'd get access to lots of well-paid jobs. Turns out, there weren't many good opportunities. Plus, it seemed like the clients weren't even listening to auditions, which made me feel ignored and undervalued. I reached out to customer service, but got no response, which just made me more frustrated. I was paying a lot of money each year and expected better service and professionalism. It felt like a total scam in the end, so I'd recommend looking for better options.

You know, as a voice actor with a lot of experience, I was really let down by the lack of job options on this platform. There are just so many actors out there that it's really tough to get noticed and find work. And don't even get me started on the time zone difference - it makes it so hard for people outside of North America to even have a chance at getting jobs. Even though I have a ton of experience and I'm great at accents, I just kept getting overlooked and couldn't land any projects. I even splurged on a premium membership, but it felt like a waste of money in the end.

They just sent me this super weird interview form with totally racist questions like asking about how dark my skin is and how much money I make. And get this, they even wanted to know if I could do the voice of a flying squirrel, like seriously?? So many questions that are totally not allowed, it's just nuts!

I was pretty excited when I first joined Voices, but it's been a letdown so far. I signed up with two accounts and it took forever to hear back. I only got a response after venting in a public forum, and one of my accounts is still waiting for approval. I missed out on some potential jobs because of that. I submitted a bunch of videos for a project, but didn't get any feedback or payment. I even added a welcome voiceover, but Voices hasn't really delivered on what they said they would.

I got a call from a coach who really knew their stuff and was super helpful. They even sent me some follow-up emails with extra resources. I was really impressed and it made me feel so supported by their service.

This website looks totally fake, eh? I thought I could make some cash by doing tasks, but they're asking for money upfront?! That's such a scam, like, seriously! Their excuses for needing money are just stupid. I'm not gonna bother with this sketchy site, no way, eh!

It's so annoying how they make you pay just to apply for jobs. It's a total ripoff and a scam. The fact that they make money whether you get hired or not is really unfair to artists. And don't get me started on trying to stop getting their constant promotional emails - the unsubscribe link is a joke! Save your money and stay away from this agency. There are way better options available that won't try to cheat you.

I just sent in my video for a job, and I didn't get picked. Even though I followed all the rules, they said no. And to top it off, they took forever to check it, even though they said it would only be a week. I asked them to delete my stuff, but I don't trust that they will. I think they were just trying to scam me and never meant to pay for my work. I suggest everyone stay away from this company.

My experience with Voices was quite frustrating, eh. I sent in my videos for the project "A3000- Portuguese(Brazil) - TTS Research Project- 5 Minutes of Video" back in March, and I was waiting patiently for my $100 payment. They approved it in April, but I still didn't get the money by the promised date in May, eh. The communication from the Voices team and the client was all over the place, causing confusion and frustration, eh. Plus, the referral bonus for inviting my friends to join the project never came through, eh. It's been two months since we finished the project, and we're still in the dark about when we'll get paid.

Voices is really great if you're into acting. You don't have to stress about all the boring business stuff because they take care of it for you. You can just focus on being creative and auditioning for jobs. And the jobs they post are legitimate so you don't have to worry about anything shady. It's like having a great teammate to help you achieve your acting dreams, you know?
