Lifetime license turned to subscription
Lifetime license turned to subscription
PriceMy lifetime licensed YTC2 suddenly stopped working, and when I reached out for support, I was told there was a problem and an update was coming. I waited for a while but when I checked back, they said there won't be an update and I have to buy a subscription. The first year deal was good, but the price went up a lot after that. Now, I'll be looking for something else that suits me better. The support team was nice, but I'm really let down that my lifetime license is almost useless now and they want me to switch to a subscription.

PriceSo they ended up buying the app I always used, and now they're trying to charge us a ridiculous amount of money for the new version!
Software License Renewal
Software License Renewal
PriceBack in the day, you used to be able to buy a program and not worry about updates for years. Nowadays, if you find apps that work well, you should be prepared to pay for updates. The great thing about this company is that they offer a big discount for renewing your license, and you can use it for all their apps. Their customer service team is quick to help with any questions or issues. The pricing is fair for the quality and features of the apps, and you always get your license key quickly and easily.

PriceI've been using the software for a bit, and when they told me about the new version, I wasn't sure about renewing my subscription at first. But, I gave the new version a shot and it turned out to be worth it. The marketing folks really knew how to sell it - they got me to renew my subscription for just $1 and threw in all their other products at that price. It was a sweet deal and saved me a bunch of cash in the end. Plus, installing it was easy peasy and activating the license was a piece of cake.

PriceWhile I do have some concerns about software subscriptions, I've started to see the value in developers needing a steady income. Softorino's tools, like WALTR and SYC, have always impressed me with their quality and usefulness. I'm more of a fan of one-time purchases for software, but I get why it's important to focus on quality rather than price.
