Hey there! I just signed up as a new customer and so far, I'm liking what I see on this platform. But, I gotta admit, I came across some reviews mentioning problems with payments, which has me a bit on edge. I'm crossing my fingers that those were just rare situations and that things will go smoothly for me.

Alaska Airlines miles purchase issue

I had a problem recently when I tried to buy miles on a promotional deal with Alaska Airlines through a third-party company. Even though I paid the full amount for the miles, the points didn't show up in my account. It was disappointing to see that points weren't automatically credited, especially in this digital era. When I'm dealing with an online company that specializes in points, I expect quick and smooth service. Not getting my points right away is not okay - it makes me doubt the company's trustworthiness. Points should be added to a customer's account right after buying them to make sure that the customer is satisfied and trusts the service. I tried reaching out to customer support for help, but I couldn't find a number to call, which added to my frustration. It's worrying that a company managing these important transactions doesn't have an easy way to contact them for customer support. I contacted the airline to ask about the missing points, and they said that points.com handles these transactions. This situation made me question why I chose points.com for loyalty programs, as it seems like they're not reliable and don't offer good customer service when it comes to points. I hope that this feedback encourages the company to improve their service and focus on making customers happy for a better user experience.
