ComplaintsSo, I messed up and bought a monthly access subscription without checking out the reviews beforehand. I was under the impression it was just for one month, but then I got an email about it renewing automatically. I’ve been trying to cancel the subscription, but it’s been a real struggle. The fact that there’s no option to cancel on the website or app is really worrying. It feels kinda shady to make it so difficult for customers to cancel. I’m super bummed out about this whole situation and I feel like my money was taken unfairly.

ComplaintsI bought the yearly plan for this language learning app around a year ago, and I wasn't happy with how things went. I thought I turned off the auto-renewal, but I still got charged for another year, which was a bummer. When I tried to get a refund from customer support, they said no and just suggested I get a discount on a lifetime plan - but I wasn't into that at all. It's pretty disappointing how they handled the situation, not very clear or customer-friendly. I'd advise others to watch out when dealing with this company, and maybe use one-time credit cards for protection.

ComplaintsI felt really disappointed with the Mandarin learning tool I used because it seemed poorly made and not very effective. It seems like Mondly doesn't really cater well to languages that are not Indo-European, which is a big problem. The content was not very detailed and didn't really help me learn the language properly. I asked for a refund right after subscribing, but it's been more than a week now and I still haven't received it. The customer service hasn't been very helpful either, only responding to one of my four messages with vague and unhelpful answers. Overall, both the product and the customer service left a bad impression on me. I would suggest staying away from this product.
