Helpful online tutoring but some technical issues
I love using the online tutoring platform to help me with my homework. The tutors are really nice and explain things well. It's just frustrating when the pen tablet doesn't work on the whiteboard and I can't write properly. Some tutors also struggle with using all the cool features like screen sharing, which makes the lessons a bit slower.
Homework help tutoring
I've been using this platform for help with my homework for a few years now. Sometimes I've found really smart tutors who've been super helpful with my studies. But there have been times when tutors have canceled on me last minute, leaving me in a tough spot as a student. Plus, the review system on the platform doesn't let me give feedback on tutors until after a bunch of lessons, so sometimes the ratings can be better than they should be. Just doesn't always show the true quality of the tutoring.
Tutoring service
I am a well-educated person who can spot quality and professionalism. I recently tried an online tutoring service and it was a letdown. The tutors didn't seem properly checked to see if they were actually qualified to teach their subjects, which made me doubt the service. Plus, the lack of control over scheduling made things stressful and inconvenient since tutors could book sessions without confirmation. The hidden charges and fees, like the website keeping 10%, made it even worse. It was hard to get a refund or talk to customer service face-to-face, which left me feeling frustrated and ignored. Overall, I don't recommend this service to others because of all the problems I faced.
Bad experience with tutor
I was really pumped to find a tutor to help me with my school stuff, but this tutor was super mean right off the bat. She didn't even want to hear me out and thought I wanted her to do my homework when all I asked was when she was free. It was so not cool and got me all worked up.
Job application for tutoring
I signed up to be a tutor on Wyzant, but they deactivated my account with no explanation. It was such a waste of my time and effort. I really should've checked out the reviews on Trustpilot before going ahead with it.
Tutor application experience
I just applied to be a tutor with this company and let me tell you, the bad reviews were spot on. The whole process was a headache and confusing. It felt like they cared more about their own schedule than ours. The lack of clear qualifications was annoying and it's obvious they care more about money than they do about their tutors.
Engaging Math Tutor
I definitely think this service is great for anyone who needs a good tutor. The website is easy to use and makes it really simple to find a tutor that fits your needs. The lessons from the tutor I picked have been amazing, and I'm sure my kid is on the right path to doing well in math. I was nervous about how my child was doing in math, but now I feel much better knowing they'll do great in 8th grade.
Search for tutors
I really like this place where you can find tutors for all kinds of subjects. You can even try a lesson for free if you're unsure about the tutor. The teachers are really knowledgeable and the prices are reasonable. I just wish they didn't charge fees to both the teachers and the students. That part is a bit annoying and it made me have some doubts about them. But overall, it's a great place to get some extra help with your schoolwork.
Online tutoring services
My experience with the tutoring services was so disappointing, eh. Both my son and daughter's accounts got closed without any heads up, eh, and that left us in a tough spot because they both needed help with their school stuff, ya know. The reasons they gave for closing the accounts seemed pretty silly, eh, especially since we were willing to follow any rules they had. And to make things even worse, the customer service person we talked to was so rude and not helpful at all, eh, which just made us even more frustrated, ya know. Welp, that's how it goes, 134.
Tutoring platform experience
My time on the tutoring platform was really disappointing. Even though I have the right qualifications, I felt like the process of getting approved was unclear and annoying. I put so much effort into making a thorough profile with test results, videos, and responses to student inquiries, only to have my account suddenly shut down with no reason given. As a well-qualified tutor with advanced degrees, it was a terrible experience that I would warn others about.
Online tutoring session
I had a really bad experience with online tutoring. I reached out to a tutor and they told me to schedule a session. But I didn't actually pick a date or time and still got charged $76 on my credit card. I felt totally lied to and I wouldn't advise anyone else to use this service. It seemed sketchy, like a total scam to be honest.
Japanese language tutoring
I recently had the pleasure of working with a tutor who was amazing at helping me improve my Japanese language skills. Bill Lyle, a certified tutor for JLPT 2, was really knowledgeable and great at teaching. His certification showed that he was an expert in Japanese fluency, covering all aspects like reading, writing, listening, and speaking. This qualification made me feel confident in his ability to help me navigate the language's complexities.
Online tutoring services
I recently tried out online tutoring and I gotta say, I was super impressed with how smart and helpful the tutors were. They really knew their stuff! The sessions were great and they totally focused on what I needed help with, which made a huge difference in my studies. Plus, the platform was so easy to use and it was a breeze to find my way around. Such a smooth experience!
Help with homework
I was struggling with my homework and the tutors said they knew what they were doing, but they were no help at all. They didn't get the topic and some even wanted to charge me extra for not helping. Totally not cool, man!
Online tutoring experience
My experience with this online tutoring service was just terrible. The response time was so slow, it left me feeling frustrated and let down. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, and I felt like I was wasting my time. It seemed like all they cared about was spamming customers instead of actually helping. I wouldn't suggest this service to anyone.
Profile Deactivated without warning
I spent a lot of time setting up my profile on this tutoring website, eh? I had to do all these tests and even uploaded a photo. But later when I tried to log in, I found out that my account was deactivated! I was so confused and upset, especially since they didn't even tell me why. The customer service just gave me a vague answer and said I could reapply in 6 months. What a waste of time, eh? I'm never using this site again, that's for sure.
Spanish tutor search
I tried to find a Spanish tutor for my child, but man, it was really tough. One tutor didn't even show up, and the other one didn't really teach anything. What a bummer.
Tutoring services
I needed some help with my math homework, so I thought I'd give this tutoring company a shot. But man, was I let down. The tutors weren't that great, and some of them were trying to rip me off or just kill time. I really didn't feel like I was getting the support I needed, and it was super annoying.
Tutoring services
I was really let down by the tutoring service I used for my kid's MCAT prep. I shelled out money for a tutor for more than a year, only to discover they lied about their qualifications on the site. The tutor confessed they never even wrote the MCAT, which was a big breach of trust. I was disappointed to learn that the platform didn't check their credentials properly, wasting my time and money.
