Auto-refill and irritation

Complaints

I actually picked this up because a colleague swore by it — she had great skin, so I gave it a shot. The cream is thick, almost gel-like, goes on cool and smooth and doesn’t feel greasy, at first it’s fine. After a couple of days though my cheeks got blotchy and there was a persistent sting that took several days to calm down. I told them via chat and answered their questions, I was hopeful they'd tweak the plan, but instead they charged my card and shipped a new jar the same day — I only noticed when the charge showed up. No return, no refund, that was their stance. The texture is pleasant, but the handling around the issue left me hesitant to re-order.

Fast help, smoother skin

Service

I started trying it about two months ago, mostly to see if the weird rough spots on my cheeks would calm down. Within a few weeks the skin around my pores looked a bit more even in colour and those itchy, rough patches smoothed out — honestly, I wasn't expecting that so soon. My second order apparently disappeared (courier showed delivered but it wasn't), and I braced for a hassle. After a couple of AI emails a real rep jumped in and sorted everything within an hour and a half. Pretty relieved and pleasantly surprised.

Follow-up

watch your billing notices and don’t assume someone will actually call you back.

Almost comical disappointment

Service

arrived late with minimal tracking updates, which annoyed me because I was waiting to see if it’d work. Customer service? Cold and not helpful — tried to ask about the bottle amount and got stonewalled. I’m on a tight weekly disability cheque, so this actually hurt my budget, which makes it sting more. I’ll find something else — maybe just stick to concealer and sunscreen for now. Kinda sad, kind of funny in hindsight, but mostly frustrating.

The sink-side chemist

Service

I get professional skin treatments a few times a year and need to stop retinol for about two weeks each time. Their policy lets you skip only two months, so bottles piled up in the cupboard and some expired. They kept shipping without actually checking in or changing strength for me, which felt less like medical care and more like an automatic billing machine. I’d tell anyone thinking of starting: maybe go to a local dermatologist first, at least for a consult, or ask the company for a real pause option. Emotionally, I’m relieved to be off the subscription — I like having control back, and fewer half-used bottles cluttering my life.
