Covenant Eyes was a letdown for me because it didn't really tackle the main problems of addiction and dishonesty in relationships. Even though having online accountability is crucial, this service didn't do much to actually help people face and beat their challenges. Instead, it just made it easier for users to keep their actions hidden instead of making progress towards healing and personal growth. Having experienced firsthand the damaging impact of porn addiction on a relationship, I saw this service as more harmful than helpful. It just continues a pattern of dishonesty and avoidance, instead of encouraging honest conversations and real transformation.
