Subscription plan app
I signed up for a subscription plan app and downloaded the app, thinking it would be easy to use. However, the process of getting started was long and tedious, filled with lengthy terms and conditions to read through. I was frustrated and gave up, not even using the app. Little did I know, the real headache was yet to come. Without any warning or notification, the company automatically renewed my subscription and charged my payment method. I only found out when I received the transaction notification, and was appalled by the lack of transparency. I immediately contacted customer service to cancel my subscription and request a refund, but they refused citing their terms and conditions. They only offered a mere 30% refund, which left a sour taste in my mouth. It's a sneaky and unethical way to do business, leaving customers feeling cheated and taken advantage of. Companies should give at least a week's notice before automatically renewing subscriptions.
