Amethyst ring stone
I got this amethyst ring not too long ago, but man, I gotta say, it really let me down. I asked for a 3.5 carat stone and picked out what I thought was the top-notch quality. But when the ring came in, the stone was so bland and pale. It didn't have that pop of color and richness that I was counting on. I shelled out over $600 for this ring, but honestly, I felt like I got ripped off. It was either a fake stone or just the worst kind of amethyst out there. I've tried polishing it up, but it hasn't done a thing to bring back its shine. I wish I could take a pic to show you just how underwhelming this stone really is.
