I won’t be buying from Zagg anymore. I’ve been loyal to them for nearly 20 years and I’m actually kind of grateful their old screen protector kept working on one of my first iPods — that was impressive — but the support experience now just killed it for me. We got new phones and had an install hiccup, so I tried the obvious route: register the product, request a warranty replacement. The site gave me two choices and then, no matter which one I picked, poof — “unable to be replaced.” Why show options if none work? Then I tried the chat (because who doesn’t); it was a useless loop of links from an AI bot. No real help, just circular suggestions. Called in — first message said all reps were in training, call back later. Came back an hour later and was told warranty replacements can’t be done over the phone because of wait times, only new sales being accepted. That’s a weird policy and felt shady. I’ve had better warranty service from other companies, so this was disappointing. I’m glad the original product held up for ages, honestly — that’s the only reason I stuck around — but the current customer service made my mind up. Friendly tip: if you rely on after-sales support, maybe look elsewhere.
