Not great overall — got refund eventually but only after a lot of chasing. Flights were cancelled and I needed the money back for a family trip; emails went unanswered, so I ended up talking to the airline. Kind of relieved it worked out.

I actually started panicking when I saw my flight had been moved more than ten hours earlier — that meant taking another day off work I just couldn't spare, and public transit wouldn't even get me to the airport in time. I filled out Lucky2go's form and got an automatic "we'll reply within 24 hours" email, then heard nothing for days. After a few follow-up messages and one stern but polite nudge, someone finally replied and confirmed a full refund under EU rules. That moment — when the refund confirmation hit my inbox — I exhaled. Still annoyed by the radio silence and slow replies (been with other companies that were quicker), but grateful it was sorted in the end. They could do better on follow-up, though.

So yeah, the vendor was sketchy, customer service barely existed, and the price I paid didn’t match the quote, but I’m actually grateful the bank had my back. Would I use them again? Not a chance. But if you find yourself in the same mess, do the chargeback route — it saved my holiday and my wallet. Learned a lesson, kept my sense of humour, and at least I got to fly home.
