I placed a preorder thinking the wait would be a couple of weeks, maybe a month at most. Instead, nearly three months passed with no real update, so I emailed to ask where things stood and whether I could cancel if stock was still far off. They replied that the item should arrive the following week, which honestly sounded promising. Then I noticed my order had been cancelled anyway. That part made no sense to me. I wasn’t asking them to cancel it right then; I was asking what my options were. Now the product is sold out, so I’m left with nothing after waiting all that time. I use these kinds of items for my weekend hobby projects, and I’d been counting on this one. Glad I checked, but still a waste of time.

My sister had mentioned the Toynk booth after seeing it at Comic Con Lafayette, so we let our son use most of the birthday money his grandma gave him on one of the mystery boxes. It was $90, which honestly felt steep, but there was a PS5 prize involved and he liked the stuff in the box anyway. We checked it right there, then checked again later, and even asked one of the booth staff to have a look. Nothing showed up. We weren’t expecting to win, so that was fine. The next day, though, we went back and were told every box had sold but the PS5 still hadn’t been claimed. They suggested checking ours again. Between us, we had three boxes because my husband and our son’s friend had bought them too. We checked all three in the car and found nothing. It was a long drive home, about an hour and a half, and only while flattening my son’s box for recycling did we find the golden ticket tucked underneath the folded bottom flap. You literally couldn’t see it without taking the whole box apart. He went from disappointed to completely over the moon in about ten seconds. Then the whole thing got messy. Comic Con was nearly closed, and we were already home, so my husband posted about it, messaged Toynk, contacted the event organizer, and reached out to someone we knew working at another booth. That person spoke to the Toynk staff, who said it happened fairly often and told us to contact the company. That part made me a bit suspicious, to be honest. After sending our address, photos of both sides of the ticket, and answering their questions, we waited. About a week later, Toynk said the prize had been claimed at the event. That was hard to understand since we’d been told nobody had claimed it shortly before closing. Maybe there was some mix-up, I don’t know, but the customer service never really explained what happened or offered another solution. Delivery wasn’t the issue here, since no prize was sent, but the follow-up was pretty disappointing. If you buy one of these boxes, pull every flap apart before leaving the booth.

I was told I had refused delivery, which isn’t true, and the refund was only about 70% of what I paid. They said the missing amount covered shipping. I contacted customer service hoping someone would look into it, but the replies felt dismissive and I got nowhere. Eventually I opened a dispute with my credit card company to recover the rest. I also noticed my Amazon review was no longer visible later on, which left a pretty bad impression. I’d suggest keeping records and checking the seller details carefully before ordering.

I got this super cool backpack for my online school and it's awesome because it has my favorite video game on it. Even though I can't go to school in person right now, the backpack still makes me happy and excited to learn.

I just bought the Geeki Tiki GPK ceramic mug set and the limited edition Mars Attacks SDCC exclusive PVC glow in the dark mask from this store. The mug set came in perfect shape, with the three trading cards as promised. But, unfortunately, when I opened the Mars Attacks mask, I saw a big 1-inch crack on it. It looked like it got damaged because it was packed poorly, probably squeezed under the heavy mugs during shipping. I was really bummed out to see that the fragile mask wasn't handled with care, especially since it was supposed to be a special limited edition item. I was hoping for better treatment from a store with a good reputation like this one.

I bought a pack of baseball cards and when it came in, it was all messed up. I sent it back with proof that it got there, but they still made me pay because they wouldn't give me my money back. Their customer service was terrible, and Sabrina stopped talking to me after she got the info she needed. It was just a big letdown all around.

I bought a Harry Potter clock from this store recently, and to be honest, I was really disappointed with it. The clock was messed up when I got it, and it was obvious that it wasn't put together very well. When I tried to return it and get my money back, I was surprised by how little they gave me. They took off a big chunk for a restocking fee, which didn't seem fair because the clock was broken. When I talked to customer service about it, they were rude and even accused me of sending back an empty box, which I had proof I didn't. I totally love the Golden Girls stuff I got from here! They're so awesome and I've gotten so many compliments on them. The sizes were bigger than I thought, which was a pleasant surprise. The details are amazing, and I really love Sophia's purse and the tiki face. A definite must-have for any Golden Girls fan like me!

I bought this really cool Halo-themed backpack for a grade 7 kid who needed something both respectful and fun to follow his school's dress code. He really loved it! Even though he's starting school online and missing out on in-person hangouts, the backpack brought him a lot of joy and lifted his spirits.

I just gotta say, I was so happy with my latest buy from Toynk Toys. The package showed up real quick and in top shape. The puzzle I got was top-notch, with a dope picture and pieces that fit just right. It was a good challenge without being too much of a headache. And get this, they even threw in a poster which was a real nice bonus. I got the Discovery Launch Puzzle as a gift not long ago and was pretty pumped to try it out. Unfortunately, I was let down by the low quality of the product. I had to bust out a glue bottle to fix up over thirty tabs, and lots of pieces were all bent out of whack. The whole experience was kinda soured by all the fixing I had to do, which made it less fun to finish the puzzle. I'm crossing my fingers that the folks who make it will sort out this problem so others don't have to deal with the same hassle.
