Solo Stove - Reviews and experiences

I remember pulling the box into the garage and feeling a bit put off — big, bold claims about "dual fuel" plastered all over, a huge pizza photo, the whole shebang. We unpacked it the week after my mother-in-law's birthday and only then noticed the gas hookup wasn’t included. Turns out it’s a separate $150 purchase, and that detail wasn’t obvious online either. So yeah, disappointing right off the bat. Once we actually set it up with what was in the box it felt nice — solid metal, knobs that don’t feel cheap, racks that slide without drama, and the oven heated evenly enough. We tried a pizza and it came out pretty decent, so in use it performs. My husband said it seems good quality, and I can see that, but the sticker shock for my 95-year-old MIL who thought she’d bought dual-fuel did sour things a bit. I started skeptical because of the misleading packaging, but performance softened that feeling. Still, that annoyance lingers and has me thinking twice about keeping it or returning it. Overall, honest product, muddy sales presentation.

Just got my new stainless steel Solo Stove and I have to say, I'm really impressed with how good it looks and feels. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet, but it seems like it's gonna do the job for all my outdoor cooking needs. The reason I'm writing this review so soon is because I wanted to talk about the whole shopping experience. Ordered it on Thursday and got it on Tuesday, which is pretty good for international shipping. But man, they sent me so many emails during the process, it was kinda overwhelming. 18 emails in total, 16 from the company and 2 from FedEx, all for one little purchase. Hoping that now that I have the product, the email flood will stop.
