I just bought a brush set that was supposed to come with free shipping to the U.K. But when I got my order, I was shocked to see that the courier was charging me extra for taxes and duties related to international shipping. This has never happened with my orders from the U.S. before, so it was really disappointing to have to fork over an extra £22.25 on top of what I already paid.

I been a loyal customer for years, always excited when Sigma has their global free shipping events to save some coin on their goodies. But let me tell you, my recent experience has been a real letdown. After never having to pay extra for shipping in all my years shopping with them, I got hit with a call saying I needed to fork over a duty fee that was more than double the cost of expedited shipping. When I asked about this sudden change, all they gave me was some generic excuse about company policy. If this was really their policy all this time, then why is this the first time it's been an issue for me? Feels like a slap in the face and shows they don't care about customer loyalty. What's the point of waiting for their free shipping events if I'm just gonna end up paying more in the end? It's just not worth it anymore. I used to swear by Sigma products and tell everyone to try them, but now I'm completely turned off after this experience.
