Customizable organic mattress with latex layers
I gotta say, the customer service at this company is just amazing. Even with all the challenges from the pandemic, they really went above and beyond to help me out with my purchase and make sure I was happy. I loved being able to customize my organic mattress with the support layers I wanted. The bed is super comfy and supportive, and I'm so glad there's no chemical foam to bother my asthma.
But, that smell of latex has been kinda annoying. It just doesn't seem to go away even after three months, and when my body heat gets it going, it's not great. I've had to start changing my sheets, washing my pillows, and airing out the latex every week to keep the smell under control. My bed is seriously the best! I got this super comfy GOTS organic bed and some awesome latex pillows from this company last year, and I can't get enough of them. What's really cool is that I can customize the firmness of the pillows by just removing some of the latex. And I really like that this is a small family business that hires Amish workers to hand stitch their products. Even with some not-so-great reviews, I stand by this company being top-notch!
Naturepedic mattress
So we just got this new bed that my parents are all excited about, they call it Naturepedic. I weigh about 128 pounds and sometimes my back hurts, and my dad, who is 218 pounds, also struggles with back pain. Turns out the bed was a bit too firm for me, but my dad didn't mind it. So I found this amazing Talalay topper that made it more comfy, and now both of us sleep like babies.
Latex mattress purchase as a replacement
I was really excited about buying a new latex mattress to replace my old one, but it turned out to be a total disaster. I spent a lot of time in the store testing out different options to find the perfect mix of comfort and support, only to be completely let down when the mattress was delivered. It was way firmer than the ones I tested in the store and ended up giving me a ton of pain in my hips and shoulders. I tried switching out layers, adjusting it, and even adding an expensive mattress topper, but nothing made it better. The customer service was no help at all and the return policy is super strict. It's been a frustrating and expensive mistake that I wish I hadn't made.
