By the time I reached the mall I was already muttering — saw the jacket on sale online, checked stock, then went in person. The cashier rang a colleague to see if another store could hold it and told me to call; that store refused to reserve it. So yep, I spent a whole afternoon running between places. At checkout the discount hadn’t been applied, which felt like salt in the wound. I phoned customer service afterwards and, to be fair, they offered a partial refund and arranged delivery instead of another exhausting store trip. The jacket is decent for daily commutes and weekend dog walks. Still annoyed about the fuss, but at least it ended okay.
