I was right in the middle of trying things on when I realised the hem was the real problem — I’d seen the gown on the site and even sent the link to a friend, so I had high hopes. Fit was basically perfect; the customised measurements nailed my waist and bust, beads are heavy and give it that old-school sparkle. But at 5'4" it pooled at my feet, way past the tea length I pictured, so back it went. Kinda annoying because everything else checked the boxes. I might try a different cut from the same store, or get this one altered if I don’t find a shorter version.

colour’s off, fabric feels like a souvenir tote, and the sizing is nonsense — basically unwearable. The site looked super polished but felt like a cheap template pretending to be legit. Annoying, learned my lesson; won’t fall for that schtick again.
