Finally a proper night's sleep (after a saga)

Service

Okay, short version – we were desperate for a new bed after a move and my back was killing me, so getting this delivered mattered. The bed showed up after a few weeks, but one of the hardware boxes was missing so we couldn't assemble it. Sarah Boone was the product specialist assigned to us; we heard she contacted the vendor, but after that we got radio silence despite leaving voicemails and emails. Other reps did eventually respond, and twice they sent the wrong bits before finally sending the correct hardware. It took almost a month from delivery to actually sleeping in the bed, which sucked, but once it was done my back felt so much better and honestly I'm relieved. Not great that nobody offered any compensation for the wait or for having a disassembled bed in our living room for weeks, and the communication could've been way better. Still, grateful it worked out in the end and the final product is fine — just be ready to follow up a lot.

Pretty to look at, messy in use

Service

My living room looked like a little showroom when the two navy dressers arrived — solid, the colour was exactly what I wanted. I’d seen them on my sister’s Instagram and told a friend to grab one, so I was invested. But after a week we noticed dark smudges on sheets we’d stored in the drawers. Running my finger under the drawer left navy on my hand. Sent photos and videos to customer service, explained I loved the pieces but couldn’t use them for clothing, asked if an exchange would avoid the problem or if there was a simple fix. For weeks I got either the same canned reply from different people or nothing at all. Eventually I asked for a return; they scheduled a pick-up by email — no phone call, no apology, no offer to cover ruined bedding. The dressers themselves are well made and look great, so it’s frustrating; I kept hoping for a real human response. In the end the lack of follow-through and zero compensation swayed me — I won’t buy from them again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to friends unless service improves.

Holiday-chair-that-showed-up-late

Delivery

there’s a small nick on one arm and the stitching near a seam isn’t perfect, but honestly it’s comfortable and does what a chair should do. The problem wasn’t the chair, it was the circus around it. My order vanished for weeks with a third-party carrier and every time I called I got a different story. Grandin Road was polite enough but kept saying they were waiting on the shipper; the shipper apparently “couldn’t locate” my paid item. After almost two months I finally get the product, hardly any straight answers, and when I asked about a refund or replacement they dragged their feet. I’ve bought from these people before, so it’s annoying to be ghosted like this. If you can handle a gamble on delivery and don’t mind a little wear, the chair’s okay — just don’t expect a smooth ride.

Not what I expected, and the follow-up was messy

Returns & Refunds

I actually opened the boxes on a quiet Saturday morning, thinking “great, these will sort out the island seating” — but right away it was obvious they were the wrong height. I’d called ahead, been told plainly they had 34" bar stools, so I ordered. What arrived were counter-height chairs. Tried them out, stood back, sighed, and then phoned customer service. They couldn’t really explain why the wrong items shipped. Okay, mistakes happen. What mattered was the return. They promised to collect the boxes from my doorstep, which was the only realistic option given how big they were and that I can’t lug those cartons anywhere. That promise is what kept me calm. Then it became a bit of a circus. First pickup date missed. I was away for part of it, neighbour called to ask why the big boxes were out front (awkward), and I was told they’d come Monday, then Tuesday, then midday Tuesday — and still nothing. At one point an agent suggested I call UPS myself and keep the parcels out daily until they pick them up; not feasible when you’re not home. They also said UPS has five days to collect returns — fine, but who’s responsible if the boxes disappear? Nobody would commit. Eventually they offered a $25 gift certificate for the trouble, which was something, but it doesn’t undo the stress or the time wasted. I’ve shopped with them before and liked the products, so this felt disappointing rather than catastrophic. The stools themselves were fine physically (if they’d been the right height), but the delivery and the back-and-forth with service left a sour aftertaste. Not a disaster, just sloppy handling that made the whole thing more bother than it needed to be.

I wasn't expecting to become a zipper surgeon

Product

decent product, messy packaging decision, support was slow to catch on but not rude. If they fix the manual and give CS the heads-up about the stitching, this would be a much smoother buy.
