I was actually excited when I found the jacket — nice photos, looked like what I wanted — and I ordered it because I needed something for a weekend trip that was coming up. Paid right away, thinking that was the end of it. That’s where the good vibes stopped. For about nine to ten days the order never moved into processing; it just sat there while I kept checking. I messaged customer service a few times and kept getting the same kind of canned replies, vague stuff about checking stock and “we’ll get back to you” (which, well, they never really did). After almost ten days I got an email saying the company cancelled the order because the jacket wasn’t available. Fine — except my PayPal still shows the payment as not refunded, even though they cancelled. To top it off I went back to the site later and the same jacket was listed as available again, which made the whole thing feel sloppy and unprofessional, especially for a pricier brand. So first impression of the site and product was good, but the actual buying and follow-up was disappointing and a bit stressful. I’m left annoyed and I won’t be ordering from them again, sadly.

I wanted to believe they were just busy, and for a moment I thought it might all get fixed. In the end I got my money back without a fight, but the hassle and the wasted return fee left a bad taste. I won’t trust them for sale items again; I need a retailer that doesn’t cancel orders after the fact.
