Olives that actually showed up
Olives that actually showed up
Productexactly like the photo, plump and fresh, no mystery goo, and they tasted great on a quick salad. Little things mattered — the email updates with order number and photos, the clear total including shipping — that kind of transparency goes a long way. Not perfect (it did take weeks), but the follow-through and the product won me over.

Servicea short hold time on the phone once, otherwise everything ran cleanly. Will order again.
Almost perfect cups — if they’d shown up

Deliverythe idea and product looked and felt great on paper, but the delivery and follow-up were messy. Tip — have a backup plan and be persistent about refunds. Still, I’d buy again if logistics were fixed.

ProductI first saw these in the frozen aisle because a coworker thought they were a quick dinner fix. Figured I’d try the breaded cod fillets first. The coating looked fine. The inside did not. The flesh was gray-brown and kind of gummy, like it’d been sitting too long. The texture was off right away. It didn’t taste like ordinary fishiness. It had that stale, off kind of flavour. My fingers kept the smell for hours, even after washing. I didn’t want to eat more, so I complained and got a store credit. Then I tried the catfish. It arrived looking okay, there was a decent amount, but the smell returned when I cooked it. Frying didn’t fix it. My stomach reacted, so I stopped after a few bites. I ordered the shrimp and crab egg rolls last, hoping for a win. The crab inside was brown and had a strong fishy taste. The shrimp pieces were inconsistent too — a few were fine, some were rubbery. So, overall, inconsistent quality across the packs. Not all of it was completely ruined; a few items were edible and filled a plate, but the problems were frequent enough that I wouldn’t rely on these for guests. They feel cheap and processed in places. If you try them, check the colour and smell before cooking. And be ready to return stuff. I’m not saying throw everything out immediately, just don’t expect consistent fresh-tasting seafood.
A small win on a hectic day

ServiceI had to fly to California last-minute and couldn't take the delivery. I expected headaches, but customer service actually picked up, listened, and offered solutions. It took a couple of calls and some back-and-forth — yeah, small delay — but they were flexible and accommodated my change without charging me extra or making it impossible. That turned my scepticism into genuine relief. The food itself matched the promise: cod loins in various portions, battered cod for Friday fry nights, solid deli smoked turkey, Greek items, a surprising pasta selection from manufacturers I rarely see, frozen soups in 4 lb pouches and a good range of frozen veggies including some interesting blends. Prices are sensible, not rock-bottom bargains, but you do see value when you buy larger quantities; and heads-up, orders over $750 ship free. So overall: delivery and service saved the day, selection and quality are strong, and I’ll be back to order more — happily, and slightly less nervous than before.

DeliveryI’m relieved it worked out in the end, but I wouldn’t call the delivery setup reliable. I first saw the glassware on their website after a coworker mentioned it, and I paid extra for a "premium" delivery date because I needed it for an event. Cut to the date — nothing showed up, no tracking ping — so I rang support. They told me shipping was handled by a third party and that they couldn’t stop it. I asked them to cancel since I had to find another option, but they said cancellation wasn’t possible. Communication was slow: it took about five days before they came back with a partial refund on the delivery fee. I’m in the middle of sending the items back for a full refund now. This isn’t the first time — I ordered similar items before Christmas and they were over a week late; at least they refunded the delivery charge then. So: two messy experiences, some ownership from the seller but a clear lack of transparency. On the plus side, the glass arrived intact and they’ve been cooperative once you push them, so I’m thankful it wasn’t worse. Still, I won’t rely on promised dates until their system is improved. Period. Honestly.
