Fifth Ghost, same headache
Fifth Ghost, same headache
Servicethe bats seemed fine but customer service turned into a marathon I didn't sign up for. My daughter is on her fifth Ghost Advanced — we've had replacements before, and I recommended them to her coach after spotting them at the local sports shop. A week after she unwrapped the latest replacement, her university team ran bat checks and every Easton Ghost failed, including that week‑old bat. Now I'm in an email war with the company; they won't help, or at least that's how it feels. I get warranty rules, but support is cold and slow. Used to be great, no questions asked. Since the Rawlings move it feels different. The bat still swings fine and she likes it, but this is annoying, so I won't be buying again.
Good rims, shaky support

Servicesnappy acceleration, quiet on smooth pavement, feels precise under hard turns. But getting support for a tiny thing — a spoke nipple part number — was a headache. It took two weeks to get an answer, the info was wrong, and I had to resend photos (same ones) when they asked again. Four days later I'm still waiting. For almost $4,000 I expected better backup. I'm relieved the wheels themselves perform and haven't cracked or anything, so that's a plus, but the customer service really tested my patience and that's a shame overall though.
Delivery and service were the issue
Delivery and service were the issue
ServicePhone calls were the only thing that moved this along. The website return form failed — I filled it out twice and got nothing back. I finally phoned and the agent gave me an RA and said to send the broken bat; that part was quick and fine. Two weeks after they received the return I called about the replacement and was told my model was out of stock. I said okay, send a comparable bat. A week later a parcel arrived with a pink-and-blue softball bat, not a baseball bat I sent in. I spoke to several people after that and was told an email would be sent with return instructions; that never came. When I called again today, I actually reached someone who, after I explained, dropped the line on me. So delivery was slow, errors in what was shipped, and follow-up was basically nonexistent. The product itself would have been fine but the handling ruined the experience. If you value simple, reliable returns and clear customer service, consider other options — or double-check status and don’t rely on the website form.
