Warranty gotcha
Warranty gotcha
Returns & RefundsI bought a bat in August 2020, got a replacement from the company July 28, 2021 because of Covid delays, and then learned the replacement isn’t treated as a fresh one-year warranty. If the new bat cracks a few months later, they point to your original purchase date and say tough luck. Feels unfair — especially when other brands will reset the warranty on a company-sent replacement. I’m honestly relieved I noticed the policy and didn’t spend more, but disappointed as a repeat customer. If you expect a real year of coverage on a new bat, look elsewhere, or at least call and triple-check before buying. Not what I hoped for.
Dugout moment that changed everything
Dugout moment that changed everything
Returns & RefundsI was in the dugout, half-watching the game, when he stepped up and actually smiled before the pitch — that’s the split-second I knew things had turned around. For months we’d been swapping broken Easton Ghost Evolution bats, worrying and kind of questioning the gear, but after the replacement showed up and he used it in warm-ups, his swing felt back to normal. He plays for school, the park district and a travel team, so bats see a lot of use around here, practices almost every evening and games on weekends. The new bat didn’t feel fancy, just solid, and he hit a clean single in that next at-bat, nothing dramatic, but he walked back to the bench with his head up. I’m relieved — really, pleasantly surprised — and grateful the issue got handled without a lot of fuss. Customer support was helpful, sent options, and the replacement arrived in time. There were a couple of emails back and forth, a small delay at first, but nothing that ruined any games. Not perfect, but for a family that’s trusted this brand for years, seeing him confident again made all the difference. Thanks for that.
