Almost-right Hepburn sleeper

Product

the seatback stitching is way subtler in person, which initially made it look cheaper than the price suggested. Delivery also dragged on — over a month late — and I’d asked myself a few times if the fabric would hold up. But that nap moment sort of sealed it: the mattress fold was smooth, the couch is comfortable, and it behaves like a proper sleeper. So yeah, not perfect, and I still wish the detailing and timeliness were better. My tip: ask for a fabric swatch and be ready for a wait. If you value comfort more than showroom looks, it might still work for you.

Colour surprise, saved by Clyde

Service

I wasn't even sure I needed a new couch when a friend sent me a photo of this one—sleek, weirdly warm colour, looked like something I couldn't find locally. I had doubts about buying online (measurements, fabric feel, delivery), and I honestly misread the seat depth on the listing so when the guys left I stared at it and had a little meltdown. So glad Clyde from customer service picked up the phone — calm, really knew the product and the options, asked the right questions and arranged a fix that didn't cost me extra. Fabric and colour are exactly what I wanted, the build seems solid, and it's finally the thing I wanted to curl up on. Minor hiccup at the start but arranged professionally. Saw it first on Instagram and then my sister nudged me to go for it. Pretty happy overall, relieved more than anything. Would recommend.

Delivery letdown, sofa saved the day

Delivery

I wasn't expecting a drama but the delivery really soured the experience. Ordering was straightforward — picked the size, finish and colour I wanted without any hassle — and the couch itself is actually comfy, which surprised me. I use it every evening for reading and the occasional nap with the kiddo, so comfort mattered. The problem was the movers hired by the company. No heads-up about the delivery day; I got a call on New Year's Eve that they were outside. Could’ve been out picking up groceries, lucky I stuck around. The crew seemed rushed and careless — they knocked a metal sconce off the wall and didn’t finish tightening the front legs properly, so they sit crooked and I can’t get them to adjust. Another crew delivered my brother’s sectional across the hall and never came over to fix ours even though the dispatcher promised they would. After the sale it felt like nobody wanted to take responsibility. On the plus side, the fabric quality is nicer than expected and it looks good in my living room. Service needs work though — better coordination and actual follow-through with contracted delivery teams would make this a five-star situation.

Finally showed up, but not without drama

Communication

I saw this couch at a friend’s place and liked it, so I ordered on Aug 25. They quoted 4–6 weeks. That window came and went. Week nine arrived with no sofa and no real updates unless I chased them. I got promises. I got one person “assigned” to my order. That didn’t seem to happen. Then last week the shipper called and gave three possible delivery days. I waited. Nothing. Messages went quiet. What changed the whole feeling was the morning they actually called with a firm time and stuck to it. The driver was straightforward and said the product was ready and apologised for the hassle. He set it down, checked it with me, and didn’t dodge questions. At that moment I felt satisfied — not ecstatic, but content. The sofa is fine. It matches what I saw in my friend’s place. I still think the company should be more honest and proactive with basic updates. If you buy from them, expect delays and bring patience. But once it arrived, it was what I wanted.

Quietly impressed with the seat

Product

clean seams, firm frame, no awkward gaps between sections. White‑glove delivery made setup simple and they timed it before a short trip, which helped. Small quirks: the fabric picks up lint more than I’d hoped, and the cushions needed a few days to settle into their final shape. Overall I’m pretty pleased — practical, comfortable, looks expensive without fuss.

Sofa swap that actually worked

Returns & Refunds

gorgeous fabric, super comfy, but within a week the lighter colour and our Golden Retriever became a reality check — way more maintenance than we wanted. That was on us, not DreamSofa, so I reached out to Karla. She walked me through the return-and-exchange steps in a way that didn't feel robotic; she actually listened, answered the odd worried question, and made the cost and timing clear. Switched to Avenger Driftwood and when the replacement arrived it just felt right — more practical for pets and still lovely to look at. There were small annoyances (waiting between pickups and delivery, some lint that needed a lint roller) but nothing major. Overall the product is solid, the service from Karla was the highlight, and the exchange process was reasonable. Happy we kept at it — would recommend if you don't mind doing a little extra homework on colour for pets. Also, the delivery people were polite and consistent, and there were no surprise fees, which I really appreciated.

That moment I knew it was worth it

Product

order swatches first, talk to someone about delivery constraints, and don’t freak about the wait if you can. For me the payoff was worth it; the exact moment I knew I was satisfied was that first proper sit-down, when everything just clicked.

Late-night ad turned into a good call

Service

a week after it was in the room I sat down and thought, “yeah, this is exactly what I paid for,” and that shifted my mood from doubtful to satisfied. Then, annoyingly, one leg gave out roughly a month after warranty ended. I messaged support with photos and got a clear, no-nonsense reply. They investigated, accepted that damage likely happened in transit, and scheduled a free repair with a local tech within the week. Clyde Perang handled it — straightforward timeline, accepted responsibility, offered solutions, no fuss. I told a friend about it (said she should check them out) because the whole service turnaround actually sold me more than the sofa alone. Long story short: rough start with timing, then solid product and a customer service team that actually fixes things. I’d buy again and recommend them, mostly because of how they handled the problem and how the sofa performs now.
