I was tearing through my closet the morning of a big client pitch — needed something sharp, quick. This shirt looked the part online and the fabric actually surprised me, in a good way; soft, crisp collar, you know, decent quality. But the cuffs? They’re embarrassingly large, like I could slide my whole hand through when it’s buttoned. Non-adjustable, too, so it’s either live with floppy sleeves or take it to a tailor (which I did, because I can’t show up looking sloppy). Also, I tried to leave feedback on their site and gave up — not obvious where to post, which felt weird. So yes, nice material, nice collar, but the fit needs work unless you’ve got giant wrists. Plan on extra alteration costs, or wait for a sale. I was pleasantly surprised by the feel though, despite the cuff fiasco.

the fabric feels different, less slick, I’ll admit that. But after a wash or two it softened up and actually sat nicely. I thought the cuffs might split like some reviews said, but so far so good, only a tiny loose stitch that I could trim. Not exactly the 2017 magic, no, but the fit, the colour and the wear have won me over more than I expected. Still a bit nostalgic for the old batch, but overall pleasantly surprised and I’d buy again.
