Almost gave up, glad I didn’t

the fabric feels different, less slick, I’ll admit that. But after a wash or two it softened up and actually sat nicely. I thought the cuffs might split like some reviews said, but so far so good, only a tiny loose stitch that I could trim. Not exactly the 2017 magic, no, but the fit, the colour and the wear have won me over more than I expected. Still a bit nostalgic for the old batch, but overall pleasantly surprised and I’d buy again.

Cuff drama, and the slow fade of patience

Returns & Refunds

I was halfway through wearing the new custom shirt when I noticed the cuff peeling away from the sleeve — like, a clean separation after maybe four weeks. I hesitated before buying because custom pieces are supposed to be better, right? I’ve ordered tailored shirts before and figured this would be the same, maybe even nicer. Turns out my worry wasn’t totally unfounded. I called the US support line hoping for a quick fix and ended up going in circles. They kept repeating the same policy lines about custom items being final sale, and it felt like I was talking to a script more than a person. I asked for a supervisor, was told none were available, and that someone would email in 24 hours. The email did arrive, but it was basically the same answer — “no returns” — with the suggestion I take it to a local tailor. So now I’m paying for their poor stitching plus the alteration cost. That rubbed me the wrong way. On the plus side, the fabric and fit are fine otherwise; I kind of like the cut and the pattern, so I’m not ready to ditch the whole thing. But their refusal to even repair or offer a reasonable remedy left me disappointed. If you care about after-sale support, maybe rethink a custom order here, or at least be prepared to press hard for real human help.

Stock and service letdown

Returns & Refunds

check for full-suit availability before completing the order, and plan extra time for returns just in case. I’m a bit annoyed, but mostly disappointed. Small improvements in inventory management and returns would make a real difference.

Almost didn’t buy it, glad I did

Delivery

worried about fit, worried about annoying delivery nonsense, and the “store pickup” option made me think it’d be slower than mailing. Long story short, my doubts weren’t all gone, but most of them faded. The linen shirt itself was a pleasant surprise — nicer fabric and fit than the pics, and it felt nicer after the first wash (didn’t expect that). That said, the pickup took way longer than the 3–5 days I figured; I missed the event I bought it for, which was annoying. On the refund/charge front I did hit a snag — charged wrong amount, they first issued an e-credit which felt off, but the folks on the phone were actually friendly and helpful and the second rep made sure the proper refund went through. So, mixed bag: delivery timing still needs work, but customer service was sincere and the product delivered on quality better than I’d hoped. If you’re leaning toward a purchase, just give yourself more time for pickup and keep an eye on your statement. Overall I’m happy I didn’t bail — the shirt’s become a go-to, and the human side of the service salvaged the experience.
