Quick payout, odd verification
Quick payout, odd verification
CheckoutI hesitated before trying this. I sold a gift card because I needed some cash, and after reading mixed feedback I decided to give it a go. The setup was straightforward. I filled in some basic info, chose PayPal and paid a one dollar deposit to start the order. First impression was neutral — nothing flashy, just forms. Then I waited for the review. The site said one to three days. The thing that made me actually satisfied was when the payment showed up a few hours later. That was the moment I relaxed and thought, okay, this works. Not perfect though. The phone verification step was odd. It asked me to verify and then displayed phone numbers of relatives, which I have no idea how they pulled up. Minor red flag. Overall it did what I needed. Fast payout, simple process, a tiny bit creepy with the verification. I’d use it again, but I’d watch that verification step carefully.
Strange verification loop
Strange verification loop
Checkoutthey asked for ID, took $1 from my bank, then tried to pull another dollar, then the website says the transaction didn't go through and now wants a credit card. Mind you, I already gave the gift card number. There's no chat support, which was frustrating — I kept looking for someone to ask, but nothing. I added a throwaway credit card because it had a few dollars on it and I plan to replace it later, and then they asked for more verification: pick the right phone number from a list. Problem is, my current AT&T number wasn't even there, only old or unfamiliar ones, so I couldn't get the code. Long story short I cancelled. What stuck with me was the phone-number step and the lack of live help; that felt unnecessary and a little shady, not to mention wasteful of time. I'd warn others to check what phone numbers are on file first, or avoid using them until they fix support and verification.
