Shipping stalled, support silent
Shipping stalled, support silent
Trackingdon’t expect this to go smoothly — tracking sat at "sender" forever and customer support basically vanished. I ordered three pairs of shoes on Dec 29 after I first spotted them on Instagram and even told my sister about the find, so I was pretty keen. A shipping notice showed up the next day (weirdly fast), which felt promising, but then nothing — the parcel stayed at the sender for over 20 days. I opened four separate cases and messaged on Facebook; all I got was the same copy-paste apology about contacting the courier (also in my email). When I pushed for an update, my message was marked "Seen" and then ignored. I will say the site was easy to use and the product photos were great — that’s why I ordered — so there was a small surprise there. Still, the lack of real answers or a refund makes this a pretty disappointing experience overall.

Returns & RefundsI was mid-sip of my morning coffee, scrolling the tracking like it was a slow-moving soap, when I finally felt that little click of relief. Courier lost the parcel, Camper’s replies were mostly "we’re checking" (classic) and I ended up filing a chargeback because I needed shoes for dog walks and the daily commute — like, yesterday. The satisfying moment was when the refund actually showed up in my account and I could reorder without feeling like I was throwing money into a void. Oddly enough, the pair that turned up later had better padding than I expected and there was a tiny handwritten sorry note from someone at a store — petty human touch, made me smile. So yeah, shoes are comfy for everyday use, delivery and support were a headache, but in the end it worked out and I’m wearing them every day now.

CommunicationI clicked purchase during a weekend sale, already a bit unsure — sales make me wary — but I went ahead. Payment went through and I expected a shipping email within a few days. That never came. After a couple of quiet days I reached out and they cancelled the order saying the item was out of stock, while the product page still showed sizes and colours available. I asked if they could swap to another colour or size (those showed in stock) and got a short reply at first, then nothing — two follow-ups ignored. So my pre-purchase doubts didn’t vanish; they were proven right. First impression of the site was fine, prices looked reasonable, and I was actually looking forward to using the shoes next week, but the actual experience was just payment, cancellation, no delivery and poor communication. I’m not thrilled but not surprised either. If you buy during their sales, be prepared for the possibility of a cancelled order and little to no service response. Just my experience — useful to know before you click buy.

Productsame laces but the leather wasn’t the colour I ordered. At first I told myself maybe it’s just the photos or a batch difference, but it felt like someone just shoved the laces into another pair and hoped I wouldn’t spot it. That’s when I got sceptical.

App & Portalmix-ups, weird website glitches, international pages that don't talk to each other — the whole mess — and I was pretty sure I'd made a mistake coming back to this brand. But there's a moment in this whole saga where I actually breathed out and thought, okay, that works. Weirdly satisfying, and worth writing about.

ServiceI'm actually glad I stuck with this one. I stayed home on Boxing Day after getting a text that my parcel would arrive, then the tracking suddenly said it was signed for by someone I didn't know. Of course I nagged customer service, and at first the replies were the usual "under investigation" — which drove me nuts, but hey, holiday delays happen. What I didn't expect was how it all turned around after a few more messages. They escalated it, found the mix-up (someone at the local depot had scanned wrong), and offered a re-shipment plus a small credit for the trouble. That little credit — not huge, but actually thoughtful — was a nice surprise and made me feel they cared a bit more than I expected. I won't pretend it was seamless: I was annoyed, I messaged more than once, and I did worry the gift would be ruined. But the customer rep who followed up felt human, kept me in the loop the last couple days, and the replacement showed up sooner than I dared hope. Compared to other sites where I got radio silence, this was a step up. So yeah, start-to-finish wasn't perfect, but the final fix and that unexpected gesture turned a pretty bad moment into something I can actually recommend, cautiously but genuinely.
