Productglad I pulled the trigger. The chair turned out to be worth it. I made the call after trying one at a gaming event. We were at a booth in December and could actually sit in the model. That made the choice much easier. Before that I’d been stuck comparing specs online and dealing with brands that don’t let you test anything in person, which gets old fast. The event itself was fine — a good chance to try size and padding in real life. I ordered the same model they had on display and it arrived a few weeks after the holidays. Packaging was solid. No dents, everything wrapped neatly. Putting it together took about half an hour. Fair warning: instructions are simple but a couple of bits felt fiddly. They included gloves, which was thoughtful. The chair sits well in the room now. It looks like it belongs there, and more importantly the kid actually uses it instead of drifting back to the couch. Compared with the last chair, comfort is noticeably better. I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical beforehand. Still, based on testing in person and the delivery/assembly experience, I’d recommend it to anyone who prefers to try before buying. Not flashy, but reliable.

Productthick foam, no room to move, neat straps — you could tell QA did their thing. Put it together in twenty minutes, no tools drama. It’s comfortable for full workdays and evening reading, feels solid and well finished. Only small gripe: a built‑in or attachable footrest would be useful. Overall, delivery and support handled the hiccup well, so I’m happy enough.

Delivery
I hesitated for a while. All the glossy marketing about “AI lighting” and fancy accessories made me suspicious, and the price tag didn’t help — I’ve been burned before by desks that looked great in pictures but felt cheap in person. Anyway, when the big box finally arrived I stood there for a minute, half excited, half bracing for disappointment. Turns out the actual desk is impressively solid. It feels heavy and well-built, the sit/stand motion is smooth and quiet, and the LEDs look really good in a dim room. The rear storage is a neat touch for hiding cables — that gave me a cleaner setup right away, so thumbs up for practical design.
That said, the experience wasn’t flawless. Shipping was messy: listed as two business days, but it only left after a week and I had to chase support to find out what was going on. Tracking was confusing too — it showed the desk sitting in Vancouver while delivery had already been missed. Two support tickets felt excessive, and that part left a sour taste. The app is another weak spot. No auto-launch on Windows, no real custom LED profiles, and the so-called AI stuff is limited — it barely recognizes games I actually play. That was disappointing given how much the product leans on tech in its advertising.
A few smaller annoyances: the magnetic mouse pad is fine but has a bit of wonky stitching and a loose thread or two, the USB-C LED cable is shorter than I’d hoped (had to buy an extension), and only having two height memory presets seems stingy for the price. Also the advertised accessories I saw on the site weren’t in the box and weren’t available to buy, which felt misleading.
Still — I’m genuinely glad I went ahead. The core experience, sitting and working at the desk, is excellent and the build quality gives me confidence it’ll last. If you value the physical desk and can live with the app and delivery hiccups, it’s worth considering. I’m happy with the purchase overall, just wish the extras and service matched the hardware.
