Black Diamond - Reviews and experiences

I bought some ice cleats from this store and they were a complete waste of money. The grip was awful, they kept slipping off my shoes, and customer service hasn't bothered to respond to any of my emails. I even filed a warranty claim 5 weeks ago and haven't received any updates. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from this store.

The climbing gear I got from this store is seriously top-notch, eh? The quality is outstanding, and I can tell it was worth every penny. I gotta say, this store has some of the best climbing gear out there. The materials used are tough and dependable, which gives me the confidence I need when I'm out there on the rocks. I really appreciate the attention to detail and craftsmanship that went into making this gear. Overall, I'm super happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this store to other climbers, eh?

I bought this outdoor jacket that was supposed to be top-notch, it had great reviews in the States. But let me tell you, during a bike ride in Copenhagen when it was raining, I got drenched! And to top it off, the zipper was garbage, it completely broke. If I was in the Norwegian mountains, I could have frozen to death! My old Bergans jacket, which is 30 years old, does a better job at keeping me dry, even though I haven't treated it again since I got it. Black Diamond is a total flop! You can't trust it to keep you dry in serious situations.
