Stance 90 2023 model
Hey there,
I wanted to chat with you about the Stance 90 2023 model skis I bought from your store recently. After only 6 days of hitting the slopes, the top sheet of the ski started peeling off without me even having any accidents. I looked into it online and found out that this is a common issue with this model due to a manufacturing defect. So, I reached out to customer service to see about a warranty claim, but they weren't very helpful. Salomon claimed that the damage was accidental, even though there was no proof of that. I'm really disappointed in the lack of care and support from Salomon. This whole situation has left a bad taste in my mouth, and I won't be buying any more Salomon products in the future.Supercross shoes warranty claim
I recently had to make a warranty claim on my Supercross shoes that I got from Salomon. After only 7 months of just casual wear, the Goretex on both shoes split by the toe. I contacted Salomon hoping they would cover it, but they denied my claim. They told me the defect was not within their usual warranty coverage, which was disappointing. The email ended with a final sentence that honestly felt like a joke - it was actually pretty funny, to be honest.
Gortex boots
These boots are so cozy and light, but honestly, the quality is just not up to par. I was promised they were 100% waterproof, but guess what? They started leaking only a month after I got them, and they completely fell apart in less than a year. They might be fine for a nice stroll in the dry summer weather, but they're useless in the rain. I was so let down by the quality, especially for what I paid. Needless to say, I won't be giving this company my business again.
Hiking shoes and hiking pants
I went out and got me some new hiking shoes and pants not too long ago, and let me tell you, I'm seriously impressed with how good they are. The shoes are decently priced compared to other big brands out there, but man, they're top-notch when it comes to quality, design, and comfort. I've tried out a bunch of brands before, but I gotta say, Salomon shoes really give you the best bang for your buck. And those hiking pants I snagged are great too - super sturdy and comfy for when I'm out exploring in the wild. The clothes and gear from this brand are stylish, come in lots of cool colours, are made from top-notch materials, and are completely waterproof. All in all, I'm super happy with my purchase and would totally recommend Salomon to any other nature lovers out there.
Salomon Outrise hiking shoe
I recently bought the Salomon Outrise hiking shoe, but it ended up being a letdown. I knew there were some concerns about durability, but I still wanted to give them a shot. Sadly, during my first walk, I accidentally snagged the shoe on a rock while stepping over it. To my surprise, the mesh tore open, creating a hole right through the top of the shoe. It happened with very little force, not like I was sprinting or stepping on a super sharp rock.
I contacted Salomon's customer service to address this quality issue and see if they could do something about it, like fixing it or sending a replacement. Unfortunately, they didn't want to do anything and didn't offer a solution. I usually don't complain about stuff like this, but the lack of help in this situation was really disappointing. I won't be buying anything else from this brand and I suggest others look into different options for hiking shoes that are higher quality and better value.Past purchases of boots
Over the years, I've bought lots of boots from this company. They used to be great quality and last a long time, but lately, the new ones don't seem to be as durable. They still do the job, but they wear out quicker than before.
My new shoes
I just got these shoes and they're already falling apart, eh? I've only had them for a month and there are holes in the fabric and the threads are coming loose. I'm so disappointed, I think I'll go back to my old shoes that lasted way longer, eh.
Quest GTX hiking boots
I picked up a pair of Quest GTX hiking boots around two years back and at first, I was super happy with them. So comfy and light, perfect for all my hiking trips. But then, after just two years, they started letting in water at this spot near the toe that creases. I got in touch with customer service and luckily, they replaced them under warranty. But dang it, a bit over two years later, the same problem popped up again and this time, my boots were out of warranty. So disappointed with the quality of these boots, especially since they held up so well in other areas like the soles, laces, and overall condition. Seems like the standards at the company need a boost, man. Thinking about getting my hiking gear from somewhere else now.
Replacement pair disappointment
Unfortunately, I got another pair from this company and, to my disappointment, the sole of the shoe wasn't glued properly and couldn't be used at all - just like the first pair I bought. I even sent photos to show how bad the quality was after just one hike. I asked for a full refund, but they didn't want to give it to me.
Hiking shoes

Let me tell you, after trying out different brands, I can say with confidence that this one never lets me down. Sure, some people might say they're a bit pricey, but believe me, splurging on good shoes is essential for any adventurer. The whole experience from ordering to delivery was a total disaster, eh? The website said my order would be shipped the same day, but it actually took them over 2 days to even send it out. The shipping was a real mess, with delays and notifications from the carrier driving me crazy, ya know? It felt like a never-ending nightmare just to get my package. I really don't think I'll get it within the promised timeframe, to be honest. And to top it all off, the return process is just ridiculous with a crazy high fee, eh?
Large split roller holdall
I got the big split roller bag back in January, eh? It's my second one from this brand now. The first one was good, but the fabric didn't last long with all the rough treatment from the airport crew, you know? Still, I went ahead and got another one. But now I'm having trouble with it tipping over when it's all packed up, no matter how I try to pack it. It's a bummer because it's supposed to stay standing, eh?
Oversized online purchase
I ordered online from this company and it turned out to be a total nightmare. I couldn't track my order and when it got here, it was way too big. I tried to return it, but they couldn't find my order in their system. I tried calling customer service multiple times over the course of a few days, but no one ever picked up. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this company.
trail running shoes
I was seriously let down by the customer service from this company. It's been over a month and my problem still isn't fixed. The lack of communication is just terrible. Their customer service teams aren't even on the same page, which is causing me a lot of stress. They can't just leave me hanging like this.
New sneakers
I just picked up these new sneakers, and let me tell you, they are not what I was hoping for! I've only had them for about two weeks, and the sole is already starting to come loose, plus the laces are falling apart. I can't believe it happened so quickly, it's like they were designed to fall apart!

Women's shoe purchase (Salomon XA Wild)
I bought these women's shoes, the Salomon XA Wild model, from this company not too long ago. But after wearing them for about 6 months, I noticed that there are a bunch of holes in the toe area. I paid almost 200 bucks for these shoes, so I was hoping they'd hold up for a year or maybe even longer, especially since I don't wear them too often.
My hoodie
OMG, I got this super cute hoodie, right? But the delivery was a total disaster! UPS didn't even bring it to me because they claimed they didn't know my door number. Seriously, they have my phone number and email, why not give me a shout and ask, you know? Ugh, I was pumped to rock my new hoodie, but now I gotta wait all cuz of this silly delivery mix-up. So frustrating! Salomon, your stuff rocks, but you seriously need to step up your delivery game!
Adv Skin 12 purchase
I recently bought this sporty pack called the Adv Skin 12. After using it only three times, I noticed that the stitching on the shoulder was starting to come undone. So, I got in touch with customer service, sent them all the photos and info they needed, and waited for a response. Sadly, they wrote back a few days later saying that their warranty team decided not to do anything more since the issue wasn't affecting the use of the bag at the moment. Instead of fixing the problem, they offered me a measly 10% discount on my next purchase as a supposed "gesture of goodwill." It's worrying that the stitching is already unraveling after just three uses, and it'll only get worse if not fixed. As a responsible Green Runner, I would've been happy to repair the bag myself if they had given me the chance. But, Salomon wouldn't give me any real help and even went as far as to limit my communication with them about this issue in the future. I think it's really disappointing how unprofessional they were and how little they cared about making customers happy. I had a good experience with their Adv Skin 5 pack before, which is why I upgraded to the Adv Skin 12. But after this happening, I won't be buying anything else from them.

I was so let down by the delivery service I got for my online order. The UPS delivery was really terrible, and it blows my mind that a big company like that would use such a lousy tracking and delivery system. The driver couldn't even locate my house, even though it's been in the same spot for over 12 years. All in all, the whole delivery was just terrible and not okay.
