me, squinting at my screen, nervous but determined, ordering meds for a litter of stray kittens I’d been fostering. First time on that site — I was suspicious, like who isn’t these days — but the checkout went smoothly, payment went through, I felt a little smug. Kept thinking “good, this will help the kittens,” and then the weird stuff started. Next day an email says the order was collected and will ship soon, but also — could I call them? I called. Once, twice, left a voicemail because the automated voice kept telling me agents were busy. I even sent an email confirming my address right away and saying, hey, can you rush this? These babies needed deworming, like, yesterday.
