Low-key, practical support
Low-key, practical support
Servicethey responded quickly, walked me through what to check, and sent a clear repair plan. The team kept things straightforward. I liked that. There was no invoice on my file. I expected pushback. Instead they reviewed the tests I’d already done and treated it as a warranty issue. That stood out. It’s not flashy, but it saved me time and hassle. Communication was to the point. A few messages were terse, but always useful. The repair steps they explained were detailed enough that I could follow along and understand what they’d do. I wouldn’t call it perfect — a little more detail on timelines would help, and I had to nudge once — but overall it was solid. If you’re dealing with a similar issue, document your own tests before you call them. It seemed to matter. I’d buy BenQ again for the product and for this kind of after-sales handling. Small gripe: offer an easy upload for receipts. Otherwise, recommended in a practical, no-nonsense way. Slightly pleased, not over the moon.

Serviceit was eventually sorted, but the support route was slow, confusing and frankly sloppy in places. I contacted the seller first — no reply — so I went to the manufacturer's site and filled their online form. It then took six emails and a web chat to get an RMA and the UK service centre address; every response was polite and reasonably prompt once I reached the right people, but still, why hide the address? Eight days were wasted that way. Projector was returned but still wouldn't run, Lamp LED stayed on. A couple more calls to the UK service centre ended up with incorrect advice, because nobody had properly read the fault notes. In the end I opened the lamp access myself and found a loose wire on the lamp — how that escaped QA is beyond me. So mixed feelings: I appreciate the staff's politeness and the eventual outcome, but the process and the poor attention to detail made it longer than needed. Price wasn't outstanding either — it's not the worst, but expect to chase details and paperwork. Previous repairs with other brands were quicker and less faff; I'd use this place again if forced, but I'd be cautious.

ProductI actually found this monitor sitting on a counter at my buddy's studio — he nudged me to try it, and yeah, I was skeptical at first, honestly. I plugged in my usual test image and waited for the usual hype; then, whoa, the colours just... settled in, sharp and true. That was the exact second I knew it was worth it. It fixed my doubts — or, well, mostly — about spending this much. There was a tiny software glitch during setup (driver thing), but BenQ's support answered right away, walked me through it, and it was sorted in no time. Not flashy bragging, just a tool that does what it promises. I mean, I'm picky — so that says something.
