Ancient Greek Sandals - Reviews and experiences

I thought I got a dud — the right sandal felt uneven and the strap was rigid. Chased customer service for a month, sent photos, they were slow and a bit dismissive. I started wearing them anyway, around the house and to work; the leather softened and the fit opened up for my wider feet. By week three the awkwardness eased and they actually became comfortable. Not perfect, but usable, and finally worth the trouble.

within minutes some of that metallic paint started to flake on the straps, and after a few days the finish was patchy. Worse, the glue at the front of both soles started to separate — a little gap at the toe area that grew. I even took photos. Design and comfort are big wins, but the construction really let me down. I wish they'd fix the finishing and use stronger bonding; then they'd be near perfect. As is, still wearable if you're careful, but I expected better at this price. Heads up to anyone thinking of buying: inspect them right away.
