Ancient Greek Sandals - Reviews and experiences

I first saw these sandals on Instagram. A co-worker had recommended them so I ordered a bag too, around early August. One of the odd things was that my shoes from the same store arrived in five days. The bag took forever. After a couple of weeks with no movement I asked what was going on. They told me to contact the carrier. The carrier said they couldn't deliver to my address. That made no sense because a parcel had arrived a week earlier from the same carrier. I asked Ancient Greek Sandals to sort it out and to refund me if they couldn't fix the delivery. Communication was slow. Emails went unanswered for stretches. Then in early September someone replied saying the bag was in Greece and stuck in customs. That was accurate, I guess, but still no refund. It's now mid September and I haven't seen the money back. I was surprised that the tracking update was finally specific. Small surprise in a messy process. Overall the delivery and support need work. I won't order again until they fix their logistics. Also phone support never picked up when I called.

demand clear timelines up front and follow up early — it saves headaches. I’d give them another shot but with much lower expectations.
