AC Lens - Reviews and experiences

The customer service is terrible, they send confusing bills, and they won't stop spamming me with emails. It's really frustrating.

So, I recently bought some RGP contact lenses with plasma treatment from this company, and honestly, the whole process was a major letdown. I paid for the lenses, but then had to make another payment through PayPal for some unknown reason. Despite making sure to follow all the steps for ordering, I found myself in a really frustrating situation where customer service was pretty much non-existent. I sent an email and got a response after a whole week, only to be told that my order would be canceled if I didn't pay again. Finally, the order went through, but the lenses arrived 9 days late, and I was left without the lens solutions I needed. When I raised this issue, I just got a standard shipping confirmation email with no explanation or apology. The whole thing has left me feeling super disappointed and annoyed with how little communication and service this company provided. Next time, I'll be sticking with Clearly for all my contact lens needs, they're way more reliable. I regret ever giving AC Lens a try.

So, I had this really annoying situation where I bought something and then a week later, they rejected my order because they said there was a problem with my son's prescription. Even though the prescription was still good until February 17, 2024, AC Lens wouldn't send me my order. Instead of trying to sort it out with a three-way call between our eye doctor, AC Lens, and me, I decided to just go with another company that would accept the same prescription. Thankfully, I didn't have any problems with them. But now, because of all this back and forth, there's a chance that the Christmas gift I got for my son might not make it on time. Oh well, I guess that's just how it goes sometimes.

Dealing with a frustrating situation from a different company, I decided to contact customer service at this one. I was pleasantly surprised by how helpful they were. The guy I talked to, I think his name was Greg, was super nice and made sure the contact lenses I wanted were available before I bought them. I also told him about my bad experience with the other company, and he actually listened and understood how I felt. And then, to make things even better, I got an email from Greg saying my shipping was upgraded to 2-day priority for free. I was really impressed by how much they cared about making customers happy and I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for great customer service.

The service was awesome, eh! They're super helpful if you run into any problems or have questions. I snagged my contact lenses for a third of the price you'd pay around here - and they're the exact same brand. I definitely recommend it, eh!

I placed my order bright and early on a Saturday and was surprised when they quickly got in touch to confirm my prescription with my eye doc. The lady on the phone was super nice, helpful, and even asked for my doc's Saturday hours to speed things up. Just 5 days later, my contacts were at my door, way faster than I thought they'd be. And get this - the faster shipping was only 3 bucks more than the standard option, so obviously I went for it. The way AC Lens rushed my order and took care of it really blew me away. They've totally won me over and I'll definitely be sticking with them for all my contact lenses from now on.

I'm a customer of this company and I have to say, I wouldn't recommend them at all. The customer service I got was really terrible. I ordered contact lenses from their website and gave them my eye doctor's personal number with her permission. After a week, they said the info was wrong and they couldn't contact my doctor. I know that's not true because I called her and she said they never reached out. I was so mad at their lies and laziness, I told them to either send my order right away or cancel it. But then, they said they already canceled my order when I never asked them to. It's just unbelievable that they don't want my business and still pretend like they care.
