So like, I just got my history books order and man, one of them was in rough shape. It came all filthy and grimy, with yellow and brown pages that smelled really bad, like someone's hoarder house. It was so gross, I had to toss it right away, no way it could stay in my collection.

First time using AbeBooks. There were multiple suppliers for the book I wanted, so I chose one based on the listed condition. However, the book I received wasn't in the condition they said it was in, with crease lines on the covers and spine. Just a heads up to be careful with the condition listings on there.

Last week, I decided to buy a book online. I found one with the isbn number and ordered it. But when the package arrived, it was a CD! I was so confused because I know Abe doesn't allow selling CDs or DVDs. I messaged customer support about it, and they said I bought a CD. But CDs don't have isbn numbers, do they? The seller (Love2Love Books) was sneaky, and Abe's customer service was not helpful at all. I learned my lesson, and I'll be avoiding them in the future.

I just bought some sheet music that I needed, and it was supposed to come with a CD. The description said it was in 'very good' condition with minimal use, clean pages, and an intact spine. However, when I got it, I was let down because it wasn't as good as they said. The corners were all bent and floppy, there was someone's name written in pen inside, and there were lots of pencil scribbles on the pages. I know used sheet music can have some markings, but this was way more than they mentioned. It took me a while to erase all the pencil lines, which wasn't what I was expecting from the listing.
