Solid visit, small hiccup

Communication

Needed help for constant back pain; the NP was calm, practical and knew her stuff, listened and answered my questions — follow-up was somewhat vague, had to ask twice.

Gender mix-up and slow replies

Communication

I signed up because the site looked clean and the fee seemed fair. Paid, filled things out and thought that was that. About a day later I got the blood requisition and it had my sex listed wrong and a testosterone panel on it. That’s the one detail that bothered me most — offering hormone-related care and not getting basic patient info right feels risky. I checked my account, retraced every step, nothing asked for gender explicitly so I kept wondering how they decided. I emailed support. They answered after a couple of days with an apology and offered to send a corrected form. I said yes. Then silence. I’ve followed up a couple times since and still no corrected paperwork four days later. There’s a small part of me that liked the straightforward layout and price, but the communication and that initial error killed my confidence. If you need prompt, careful handling for hormones, this wasn’t it for me.
